The Women in Mining California Chapter is offering five $1,000 scholarships to young women planning on obtaining a degree in mining, geology, engineering, or environmental studies. Students must be either high school seniors or currently enrolled in college with a GPA of at least 3.0, California residents, and US citizens, but may attend/plan on attending a college outside of the state.
