MEEC, through the generosity of its sponsors, is once again offering scholarships to teachers to attend the Key Issues Institute this summer in Silverthorne, Colorado. Three Antelope Valley teachers and one from the San Bernardino County high desert/Riverside County Blyth region will be awarded scholarships. Applications for the one-week environmental issues conference are available for 5th-8th grade core subject teachers who will implement the curriculum into their content during the school year; they must be submitted by no later than 19 April 2013.
